India and Canada will face off in their final T20 World Cup group-stage match on Saturday afternoon at Central Broward Regional Park. The Men in Blue currently lead Group A, while the Maple Leafers are fourth. With one game left to play in the group, India have already booked their place in the Super Eight. They have a perfect record of three wins in three and a net run rate of +1.137. The Men in Blue come into this match following a seven-wicket victory over host nation the United States on Wednesday, where Arshdeep Singh delivered a Man of the Match performance, notching 4/9 in his four overs, restricting his opponents to just 110/8. Suryakumar Yadav and Shivan Dube steered the side to victory with an unbeaten 50 and 31, respectively. That result followed a six-run win over Pakistan and an eight-wicket drubbing of Ireland in the earlier matches in the competition. India are now on an eight-match winning streak in T20 internationals and are massive favourites to end the group stage unbeaten. 

Meanwhile, Canada enter this match with two points from their first three games, but while they are still mathematically in the running for a top-two finish, their net run rate of -0.493 does not bode well for them. Their only victory in the competition came in week two when they overcame Ireland by 12 runs, successfully defending 137/7 in their 20 overs. Either side of that result, though, Canada were beaten by seven wickets by neighbours USA and then Pakistan. Despite their struggles, Canada have managed a few standout performances, particularly from Aaron Jones, who has scored 141 runs in his three innings and is currently ranked second in the leading run-scorer standings. Still, facing the mighty India is never an easy ask and Canada may struggle to keep up in this one.
