Granada will seek to secure the Spanish Segunda title on Saturday when they host Leganes on the final day of the season. They come to this match in first place on the standings while Leganes are down in 12th. Granada have a slim one-point lead to protect and can only do that by winning this match. A loss here will be catastrophic as it could mean losing out on the title as well as automatic promotion. Paco Lopez’s men are on 72 points and are separated from fourth-placed Levante by just three points.  They have won their last two matches but before that, had managed only one win in six. The Nasrids revived their title hopes by beating Lugo and Mirandes with the latter going down 3-1 at home last weekend. They are now unbeaten in their last four and will close out the season at home where they haven’t lost all campaign. Granada have managed to pick up 52 points from the 60 that have so far been on offer for them at home. They haven’t beaten Leganes in the last two encounters and lost the reverse fixture 1-0.

Leganes have had the most success in this fixture and have won four of the last seven matches and have lost just twice. Unlike Granada, Leganes will be playing for pride on Saturday. They have confirmed participation for next season in the Segunda and come to this match also with an unbeaten record of their own. Carlos Martinez's charges haven’t lost in their last three matches with two of those fixtures ending in victory. They drew 1-1 however with Andorra last time out. Leganes have again been unable to mount a promotion push and will now play in the Segunda for the fourth successive season. Los Pepineros El Lega will however seek a win here that could see them finish the season in the top 10 as consolation.
