Germany top this 17th to 32nd classificaton group but it's a close battle between them and Canada to finish in that position. The Germans were in Group G in the first round but finished third behind France and the Dominican Republic. Their only win in that group was against Jordan but their two losses were only by a margin of six points, so they were unlucky to end up in the lower classifications rather than the second group stage. So far in this group, Germany have beaten Senegal by 11 points and they will look for another win here.

Canada had a tough group up against Australia, Lithuania and Senegal. They lost by an aggregate of 39 points against Lithuania and Australia. Their only victory was over Senegal, winning that match by 22 points. The first game in this classification group saw them defeat Jordan by 55 points. They broke the record for the most three-pointers in a World Cup match but will find this a lot more difficult. Go for Germany to get the win in this match.
