Genoa have gone into a bit of a dry spell, something Patrick Vieira will look to address when AC Milan come visiting. The two sides clash in the 35th round in Serie A, Genoa being 13th and Milan ninth. Read on for our prediction of this match.

Genoa haven't had a comfortable run in recent times. Their 1-0 win against Udinese marks the only victory they have posted in five matches and the only time they scored in that run.

That came four matchdays ago and it feels unfair that Grifone have only managed four points from a possible 15. It will be harder here, being winless in eight against Milan.

AC Milan have hit the right chords in recent times though they remain six points behind European spots. With a Coppa Italia final against Bologna coming up, they can channel their ambitions for Europe there.

However, it becomes calamitous if they fail to win the cup, and that’s why they have to keep winning in the league. Three wins, a loss and a draw in their last five matches represent much improvement in the Milan camp.

They beat Venezia 2-0 last time out, keeping their third clean sheet in four matches. Away from home in the league, Milan are on two straight wins, both with clean sheets.
