Fiorentina vs KKS Lech Poznan Prediction & Betting Tips - Conference League

Italian side Fiorentina is in the driving seat in their Europa Conference League quarter final tie against Lech Poznan, the return leg of which is scheduled for Thursday in Italy. A 4-1 lead from the first leg places the hosts in prime position to set up a semi final clash against either Basel or Nice. The first leg win away in Poland was Fiorentina’s ninth straight victory in this competition and the fourth time in five matches in the competition that they scored three or more goals. They will head into this one having come from behind to draw 1-1 at home to Atalanta in the Serie A, their 14th straight undefeated game since falling to Juventus in February. Onto this game, Fiorentina will be more worried about their defence, having failed to keep a clean sheet in the last three matches but knowing they can only fail to progress if they lose heavily gives them confidence. They haven't conceded more than a goal in the last 11 matches.

The task at hand is well cut out for Lech Poznan; they have to win by at least three clear goals to have a chance at progressing to the semifinals. That will be a major concern, as in their last five matches, they haven't managed more than two goals, while they have conceded more than a goal in three of the last four matches. Lech Poznan are coming from a 2-2 draw with Legia Warsaw, another game that left questions on their fighting ability after leading 2-1 with three minutes to go. They do have a good scoring run though, a case in point, having scored twice four times in the last five matches and also the 3-0 win over Djurgarden in their last away game in the Conference League. The issue however is that they have just one win in eight away games in this competition.
