The past few weeks have brought out inconsistent results from both Fiorentina and Juventus. Now the two sides clash in Serie A, hosted by Fiorentina who are eighth, four places behind Juventus. Below is our prediction for this match.

Fiorentina are coming off a refreshing night in Europe. They beat Panathinaikos 3-2 to advance in the Conference League. It was a welcome recovery after falling 2-1 to Napoli earlier in the league.

La Viola now hope to make it back to back wins in a fixture that rarely favors them. A 2-2 draw in their reverse meeting left them winless in this match in five.

Juventus arrive for this game having also had their struggles in recent times. Through their last five matches, they suffered elimination from two competitions; Champions League and Coppa Italia.

The Old Lady are also smarting from an embarrassing 4-0 home loss to Atalanta right ahead of this trip. Having beaten Fiorentina three times in the last four matches, they will be confident of rising again.

However, three wins only in their last 12 away matches is a threat to their ambitions here and in the top four as well. In Serie Action though, Juve posted wins in the last two matches, beating Como and Cagliari.
