Our next match prediction takes in a rare clash of two Gaelic rivals. The Republic of Ireland's Shelbourne hold a single goal lead from the first leg of their Champions League 1st Qualifying Round tie with Northern Ireland's Linfield. However, David Healy's Blues, the current NIFL Premiership Champions, will be confident of turning that around at Windsor Park in the second leg against Joey O'Brien's visiting Shels.
The first leg was played at Tolka Park in Dublin last week and saw Shelbourne take a narrow 1-0 lead into the second leg, thanks to a second-half goal from striker Mipo Odubeko. New manager O'Brien, who recently took over from Damien Duff, may have been hoping for a bigger advantage to take into what is a difficult second leg in Belfast on Wednesday evening.
Linfield's outstanding home form sees them only lose one of their last 15 matches at Windsor Park, and David Healy will be hoping that a partisan home crowd can turn the tie in their favour. However, despite a friendly 4-0 home win over Haverfordwest County, they lost the NIFL Charity Shield 5-3 on penalties after a 0-0 draw with Dungannon Swifts ahead of their 1-0 defeat to Shelbourne last week.
Last week's win for Shelbourne was their second in a row, coming after a 3-1 home win over Cork City in the Irish Premier League, and before that, they had drawn their last two away games, 2-2 at Waterford and then 1-1 at Galway United.
