Two sides at opposite ends of the Liga Portugal table will meet on Sunday when Farense play host to Porto at Estadio de Sao Luis. Leoes de Faro are second-bottom in the league standings while Os Dragoes are in third place after 21 games. Let’s get into the match prediction!

After ending last season comfortably in mid-table, Farense have experienced a major drop-off this term, currently on 15 points after 21 games and three points from safety. 

The Lions of Faro suffered their 12th defeat of the season last week 2-0 to Nacional. That was their third straight loss in the top flight and sixth without victory dating back to mid-December. 

At home, the hosts are winless in four matches (W0 D1 L3) and conceded two or more goals in each of their last three. They have only taken seven points from a possible 30 at this venue this season.

Meanwhile, Porto will be returning to the domestic league after playing out a 1-1 draw against Roma in their Europa League first-leg playoff round match in midweek. 

Os Dragoes have not been in great form in Liga Portugal of late, winless in their last five games (W0 D3 L2) - a notable dip after winning eight of their preceding 10 league games.

The visitors have also failed to win any of their last three away games and have only won one of their last six on the road in the top flight.
