On Monday, Estonia will face off against Belgium in the 2026 European Championship. Belgium have only lost one of their last four matches against this opponent, and we’re leaning toward them coming out on top here as our main prediction. 

Estonia have yet to open their account in this year’s EuroVolley, having lost both their matches to this point, 3-1 to Serbia and 3-0 to Denmark coming into this one. 

Their last match against Denmark was more competitive than the scoreline suggests. Mart Tammearu led the team with 12 points, while Timo Lohmus was the only other player to finish in double digits. 

Estonia have won seven of their last 10 matches in all competitions but only one of their last five against this opponent since August 2022. 

Meanwhile, Belgium kicked off their 2026 EuroVolley campaign with a solid 3-1 victory over the Netherlands, but they will be looking to bounce back here after losing to Finland 3-2 on Saturday. 

They finished with a 50% attacking efficiency and 44% positive reception. Sam Deroo was the standout performer with 25 points, including two blocks, followed by Ferre Reggers with 18 points. 

Belgium have won four of their last six matches across all competitions. The last match between these sides was a friendly and ended in a draw.
