Hosts Espanyol, a point below safety have a tough outing here but can rise to 17th with a win. In their last 12 matches, Atletico have 10 wins and two losses. They will be seeking a sixth straight unbeaten outing against Espanyol, who last beat them in 2019. The last time Atletico visited Catalunya, they lost 1-0 to Barcelona, but the last two visits to Espanyol ended without defeat.
