Anadolu Efes are at home to begin their 2025/26 EuroLeague campaign and will entertain Maccabi Tel Aviv on matchday one. Both teams won their respective home matches in last season’s campaign. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

Anadolu Efes had a turbulent preseason that picked up from their shaky end to last season. They, however, did win their most recent game, 90-76 against Esenier Erokspor in the Super League, to snap a four-match losing run.

Efes, who are under new coach Igor Kokoskov, will be looking to continue with their superb end to last season’s regular campaign. The Turkish side, who finished last season in sixth to make the playoffs, have won their last seven regular-season games.

Maccabi Tel Aviv had an underwhelming season last year and will be hoping to correct their mistakes this term. The Israeli heavyweights won just 11 of 34 games last year as they finished third from bottom.

Oded Kattesh’s men struggled in particular away from home and managed just two wins from 17 road games.

To prepare for this opener with Efes, the Yellows were outscored 79-69 at home in the domestic League Cup by Hapoel Jerusalem. This was their second defeat in their last three outings.
