Danielle Collins vs Emma Raducanu Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Strasbourg Open

Danielle Collins is unseeded for the internationaux de Strasbourg but reached the final here 12 months ago. Round two of this outdoor clay court tournament sees the American face wild card Emma Raducanu. Time for our match prediction.

Collins was due to retire at the end of 2024 but decided to carry on playing. The 31-year-old has won five of her seven clay court matches this year. A win over Ra  ducanu will take Collins into her second clay court quarter-final of the year, the other coming in Charleston.

The world number 46 is down to 62nd in the live rankings due to her defending the points earned when reaching last year's Strasbourg final. Her most notable win on clay this year came in Rome when beating Iga Swiatek. Round one saw her beat Sofia Kenin in three sets.

Emma Raducanu is up to 41st in the live rankings and has a 5-2 record on clay this year. It's a surface the British number two isn't that experienced on but admits she's improving on. That was shown in the first round here when the 22-year-old beat the sixth seed Daria Kasatkina for the loss of only four games.

That continued her improving form on clay after making it to round four in Rome. The winner of this match will face either top seed Jessica Pegula or unseeded Anna Kalinskaya in the last eight. We tip Collins to win this match.
