Chelsea have one foot in the final of the 2024-25 Conference League. They won the away leg of this semi-final 4-1 at Djurgardens and now host the Swedes at Stamford Bridge. Will the Blues finish the job off on home soil? Here's our match prediction.
The winners of this tie will face either Real Betis or Fiorentina in the final. Betis lead that tie after winning the home leg 2-1. Chelsea wouldn't say no to winning a European trophy but it's more than likely that their main aim at this point in time is ensuring they qualify for next season's Champions League.
Djurgardens will need to make an amazing comeback if they are to reach the final. The Blue Stripes have to score at least three goals in 90 minutes to stand any chance of getting past the English Premier League club. Could they possibly do that at Stamford Bridge on Thursday?

Chelsea - Djurgardens IF: Form Analysis
Chelsea are in top form at the moment and have won their last four matches. The 4-1 win in the first leg of this Conference League semi-final was followed by a 3-1 home win over Liverpool on Sunday.
The Blues have only lost one of their last nine games in all competitions. That was the home leg of their Conference League quarter-final against Legia Warsaw. That round also saw Chelsea begin the second leg with a good lead. They will be out to avoid a repetition of that this Thursday.
A dozen wins for Chelsea?
In the Conference League this season, Chelsea have won 11 of their 13 matches, they also lost at Seville in the play-off round.
Djurgardens IF have only won one of their last four games. They have made a slow start to the new Swedish Allsvenskan with only eight points from their first six games, leaving them 11th in the table. The Iron Stoves have also played one match since the first leg and were held to a 1-1 home draw by AIK.
The last round saw them lose the home leg to Rapid Vienna but then win the second leg to progress. They only had a 1-0 deficit to claw back in the last eight. Djurgardens have lost three of their last five games in this season's Conference League.

Chelsea & Djurgardens IF Squad Analysis
This match comes just three days before Chelsea travel to Newcastle United in the Premier League. Is that more important than a Conference League semi-final? Chelsea's owners and accountants would be quick to say that it is.
With Chelsea having a 4-1 lead from the first leg, there may well be a fair amount of squad rotation being employed. They can always have some top players on the bench ready to come on just in case they run into problems.
A strong starting line-up was selected against Legia Warsaw in the last round and that also saw Chelsea playing the second leg with a three-goal advantage. Players such as Mathis Amougou, Shumaira Mheuka and rising star Tyrique George may start this match.
Romeo Lavia is fit again but is not registered to play in this competition. That situation is also being faced by Djurgardens. Their usual goalkeeper Filip Manojlovic isn't registered and with Malkolm Nilsson injured, it's Jacob Rinne who is likely to be in goal on Thursday.
Mission Impossible for Djurgardens?
Just how will the Swedes approach this game? Conceding an early goal would put them four down in the tie. They will have to take an increasing amount of risks the longer the game goes without the current deficit having been reduced.
Their task is even more difficult with other key players out injured at present, including Patric Aslund and Nino Zugelj.
