Monaco will travel to Brest, hoping to strengthen their hold of second place in Ligue 1 this Saturday. Going into the 28th round of matches, Monaco are second, six places ahead of their hosts. Read on for our prediction of the match.

Brest haven't hit last season’s highs but they are well in contention for a place in Europe. Seven points won in the last three matches have pushed the team to within six points of the top-six.

To wrap up March, Brest endured a tense second half as they trounced Toulouse 4-2. That marked a third unbeaten league game and they’ll hope it inspires the team to a first win over Monaco since 2021.

Monaco have six straight wins against Brest ahead of this encounter. In their last encounter, Monaco came through with a 3-2 win, scoring at least twice in five of six meetings with Brest.

Les Monegasques are left to scramble for second place, with PSG looking set to win the Ligue 1 title this weekend. The visitors are coming off an important win at home to Nice.

They had to stage an impressive comeback in the second half, rallying to beat The Eaglets 2-1. Now Adi Hutter’s men have opened up a four-point gap in second place.

Vying for an automatic Champions League place, Monaco will be keen on winning this.
