Borussia Dortmund welcomes Schalke to the Signal Iduna Park for this match in the Bundesliga. The home team are currently in 5th place with 12 points while the visitors are in 12th spot with six points. Dortmund will be looking to bounce back with a victory in this match after two consecutive losses. They lost midweek in the Champions League to Manchester City despite taking the lead. Prior to this they lost to Leipzig in the league. If they are looking for a ray of light in these defeats, both losses have come away from home. Dortmund have only lost three of their last ten matches with six wins and a draw. They have been in decent form at home, winning three of their last four matches.

Schalke will be confident coming into this match after picking up their first win of the season in their last match when they beat Bochum 3-1. The visitors will be hoping that the win is a catalyst for them or else it could be a long season for the newly promoted side.
