Next up for our match prediction this weekend is a crucial League One clash at the Toughsheet Stadium as Bolton Wanderers host Bradford City as two of the top four clash. The Trotters have been in good form of late under Steven Schumacher while Graham Alexander's Bantams have struggled to win any of their most recent fixtures.

That run has seen Bradford drop from top spot in the league. Now, City lie third in the table with 27 points from 15 games, they are just one point off the top of the table despite their recent poor form. Bolton's improved results have seen them move up to fourth on the table, level on points with Cardiff and Stevenage (26) from their 15 games but with a better goal difference.

Bolton's great recent form started with a 1-0 home win over Cardiff, followed by a 2-1 win in the FA Cup First Round over Huddersfield at home and another win at home, this time 4-0 over Port Vale. Most recently, they thumped Oldham Athletic 6-2 away in the Football League Trophy.

Bradford's recent run has seen them go six games without a win, although five of those have been draws.After drawing 1-1 at Stevenage and then 0-0 at home to Lincoln, Bradford have since lost three games in a row. 1-0 in the FA Cup First Round at Cheltenham, 2-1 at home to Burton Albion in the league and in most recently a 3-1 loss in the Football League Trophy away to Doncaster.
