Birmingham City will welcome Premier League opposition Newcastle United to St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park for a fourth-round FA Cup tie on Saturday afternoon. The Blues have been eliminated from this competition in this round in the last two editions, while the Magpies reached the quarter-final last season. To the match prediction!

These two could very well be competing in the same division next season, with Birmingham City currently leading the Championship with two games in hand on second-placed Wycombe. 

The Blues booked their place in the semi-final of the EFL Trophy, beating Stevenage 1-0 in their last match, which extended their unbeaten run to 18 matches across all competitions (W15 D3 L0).

At home, the hosts are riding a three-match win streak and last tasted defeat at the venue at the start of September (W11 D2 L0). 

Meanwhile, Newcastle United stamped their ticket to the Carabao Cup final in midweek, beating Arsenal 2-0 in the second leg of the semis to progress 4-0 on aggregate. 

With that, the Magpies have now won 11 of their last 13 matches across all competitions and scored two or more goals in 10 games during that period.
