The Seville derby will light up La Liga this weekend when Real Betis welcome Sevilla to Estadio Benito Villamarin. Placed sixth, Betis are clinging onto their European slot as 10th placed Sevilla visits. We have the prediction for this match below.

At home and in Europe, Betis are enjoying a good tide. They are unbeaten in the last six matches and have won in seven of their last 10 outings.

It seemed as if they would lose their unbeaten run just before the international break, away to Leganes. However, Betis rose from 2-0 down with a great second half performance to win 3-2.

That marked the eighth time in 10 matches that they scored two or more goals.

Sevilla were not so fortunate. Their push for a fifth unbeaten outing ahead of the derby was thwarted just before the international break.

They lost that 1-0 at home and will have to dust themselves up for the next challenge. What may make them underdogs for this match is their low scoring returns.
