Bordeaux Bègles will be aiming for a second straight qualification for Top 14 final heading into this match. Yannick Bru's side are also on track to secure a double this season, having won the European Champions Cup - their first-ever silverware.

They finished second in the standings with 78 points at the end of the regular season and have enjoyed a stellar domestic and European campaign. However, the Bordeaux-based outfit were largely inconsistent in the run-in. They lost three of their last five Top 14 matches, winning two. This includes a 59-28 victory over Vannes in the final matchday of the regular season.

RC Toulon finished third in the standings, six points adrift of Bordeaux Bègles at the end of the regular season. They defeated Castres Olympique 52-23 in the quarter-finals, but have lost four of their last six matches. Additionally, Pierre Mignoni's side will enter this match on the back of a five-match losing streak on the road.
