Bayern Munich find themselves in a very unfamiliar position going into this game. They are placed fifth in the standings, with 16 points, two behind Freiburg. Four draws and a loss in their opening nine matches are what have left Bayern in this position, but they are coming from a very strong run, winning three of the last four matches.
