Barcelona start the weekend five points clear at the top of La Liga. They look for another three points with a home win over Sevilla who are 13th in the table. Barcelona have won 16 of their 19 league games this season with only one loss. That was at second placed Real Madrid in mid-October. Since then, they have earned 28 points from ten games with only Espanyol avoiding defeat to them. That was a home game and the goal Espanyol scored is the only one Barcelona have conceded at home in La Liga this season. That was from the penalty spot, so here we are in February and Barca are yet to concede a home league goal from open play. Seven of their nine home league games have been won and win number eight looks on the way here.

Sevilla may be 13th in La Liga but they are only two points above the relegation zone. Only five of their 19 league games have been won this season but they have won their last two in La Liga.  Three of their last four league games have been won but they were against the three sides currently in the relegation zone, this is a bit tougher. Two of their nine away league games have been won but the second of those was in October. They've gone four without a win since then, including a 3-1 loss at Real Madrid. Their league visits to Barcelona don't go well and only one point has been earned from the last ten. Back Barca to win this and lead at both half and full time.
