Arthur Gea caused a big upset in the last round when he beat third seed Ben Shelton. Round four of the outdoor hard court Shanghai Masters will see him take on 13th seed Jakub Mensik. Looking at their recent matches, our prediction must be more than 21.5 games.

In the quarter-finals, the winner will be up against either 25th seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina or unseeded Hubert Hurkacz.

Arthur Gea is the world number 56 and that's 43 places below his opponent.  The gap is only 32 places in the ATP Live Race and he's a career-high 48th in the live rankings. Gea has played 34 matches on this surface in 2026 and won 29 of them. Two titles have been won, one on the ATP Tour.
