Arsenal will look to keep their slender hopes of a continental cup and Premier League double alive this weekend when they host Brentford at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Arsenal - Brentford: Form Analysis
Arsenal will enter this match with bags of confidence and still revelling in their incredible 3-0 victory over Real Madrid in the first leg of their quarter-final tie at this venue earlier this week.
However, they did see their league title hopes diminish last week, when they were unable to find a go-ahead goal against Everton at Goodison and were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw.
Still, that result marked their fifth league game without defeat, while at home, they have only suffered a single loss all season and kept five clean sheets in their last 10 in front of their home fans.
Since December, Arsenal have only conceded 12 goals in 18 Premier League games!
Meanwhile, with the mid-table still tightly compact heading into the final stretch, Brentford are still in contention to finish in the top half, but will need to string together a few wins to do so.
Unfortunately, maintaining consistency has not been the Bees’ strong point this season, as they have only won one of their last five league games following a creditable 0-0 draw against Chelsea last week.
However, the visitors have been good on the road of late, winning five in a row since the start of the year before conceding a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United at the start of this month.

Arsenal & Brentford Squad Analysis
Arsenal were given a couple of scares against Los Blancos, with Declan Rice, who scored two free kicks, and Bukayo Saka, who won both those set-pieces, being withdrawn late in the game through knocks.
While they are expected to be fit for the trip to Madrid, Mikel Arteta may feel the need to rest them for this match, as he did with Gabriel Martinelli against the Toffees last weekend.
However, the hosts are already fairly shorthanded, with Kai Havertz (hamstring), Gabriel Magalhaes (hamstring), Riccardo Calafiori (knee), Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) and Gabriel Jesus (knee) currently sidelined.

As for the visitors, Thomas Frank was able to welcome Rico Henry back to the squad last week, with the defender having finally overcome the serious hamstring injury that forced him to miss the majority of the season.
With Henry’s return, Brentford now have three players still on the treatment table in Fabio Carvalho (shoulder), Igor Thiago (knee) and Josh Dasilva, while Gustavo Nunes and Aaron Hickey are flagged as doubts.
Bryan Mbeumo has netted five goals in his last six away games and is the obvious danger man for the Bees in this one.
