Anderlecht are in their debut season in the Conference League proper and after qualifying second from Group B, they have gone on to eliminate Ludogorets and Villarreal in the knockout rounds to advance to their first European championship quarterfinal since the 2017/18 season (Europa League). However, The Cheeseheads have stuttered in recent outings and come to this match without a win in their last three matches and will hope to get out of this slump by starting strongly as they did in the previous round against Lazio.
