Second seed Carlos Alcaraz faces the third-seeded Alexander Zverev for a place in the Cincinnati Open final. The winner will be up against either top seed Janmik SInner or qualifier Terence Atmane in Sunday's final. Read our match prediction below.

Alcaraz is attempting to reach the final of this outdoor hard court tournament for the second time in three years. The Spaniard had a tough quarter final, needing three sets to dispose of Andrey Rublev. 

He also lost a set in his opening match against Damir Dzumhur, so a side bet on this going all the way could be successful. Alcaraz trails Zverev 6-5 in previous meetings. They're 2-2 in oudooor hard court matches with Alcaraz winning the last two, both played in 2024.

Alexander Zverev is playing in his third consecutive Cincinnati Open semi-final. The German is yet to drop a set and beat Ben Shelton in the last eight, losing only four games. He's yet to win an ATP Tour hard court title this year, while Alcaraz has won one.

The last match  between these two players was in last year's ATP Tour finals in Turin with Zverev winning in three sets. Alcaraz had won the previous two. We tip Carlos Alcaraz to reach the final.
