Aleksandr Shevchenko vs Flavio Cobolli Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Geneva Open

An unseeded player is guaranteed a place in the last four of the Geneva Open. Alexander Shevchenko takes on Flavio Cobolli with possible semi-final opponents being second seed Casper Ruud and fifth seeeded Sebastian Baez. This is the final clay court tournament for these players before Roland Garros which starts next week. Shevchenko is ranked 61st in the latest list but was as high as 45th earlier this year. He's up to 59th after reaching this quarter-final. He beat the seventh seed Fabian Marozsan in round one and that's the last match he's played. His scheduled second round opponent was Emil Ruusuvouri but his opponent pulled out with an injury. He'd lost three of his previous four matches before the start of this tournament.

Flavio Cobolli is 56th in the live rankings and had a big win in the second round. He'd opened his campaign with a straight sets win over Aslan Karatsev. That took him into a match against the fourth seed Ben Shelton and he won that in three sets after losing the opening one. Cobolli is in his third ATP Tour quarter-final of the year but the other two were both in hard court tournaments. His clay court season hasn't gone too well but he seems to be back in the form that saw him reach the last 32 in the Madrid Masters. That run saw him beat Alejandro Tabilo and Nicholas Jarry. We tip him to win this match.
