Alex de Minaur is the only remaining seed in the bottom half of the draw for the outdoor hard court China Open. The fifth seed takes on unseeded Quentin Halys in the second round of this outdoor hard court tournament.  Looking at the three matches they've previously played, more than 9.5 games in set one is our prediction.

The winner goes into the last eight against either Andrey Rublev or Roman Safiullin, both unseeded.

Alex de Minaur is the world number ten and that's 40 places above Halys. The Australian has reached two ATP Tour outdoor hard court quarter-finals this year.

Round one in Beijing saw him beat Mariano Navone in straight sets, the first going to a tie-break.

More than 9.5 games have been played in three of his last five matches played in singles tournaments.

Quentin Halys leads de minaur 2-1 in previous matches. They have included six tie-breaks.

Halys has won 20 of his 34 outdoor hard court matches played this year. The Frenchman has only once made it past the second round of an ATP Tour event played on this surface, getting to round three in Miami. In the first round, Halys beat Ignacio Buse in straight sets.

He's played more than 9.5 games in the first set in three of his last four matches.
