Fresh from winning the Champions League, Al Ahli will turn their focus to the Saudi Pro League. Fifth-placed Al Ahli will be at home to host Al Taawoun, who are eighth, with five matches remaining. Read on for our prediction of the match.

Al Ahli beat Kawasaki Frontale 2-0 in the Champions League Elite final to win their first continental title. In their new identity as Asian champions, playing at home places them as favorites in this clash.

They are on six straight wins and are unbeaten in seven. Al Ahli lost just once in their last 11 league matches at home. They’ve also beaten Al Taawoun in each of the last three meetings.

Al Taawoun have had much rest since they last played competitively. Coming back to action after a fortnight, they will hope to build on a 4-3 win over Al Raed last time out.
