Predicting just what West Ham might do next definitely isn't the easiest of tasks. Two home games have seen them be defeated by Leicester City and Bournemouth, while two away matches have seen wins at Arsenal and Liverpool without conceding a goal. There was the kind of transfer activity last week that Arsenal fans can only dream of. Antonio, Moses, Jelavic and Song all joined the club and the club sincerely hope they'll quickly start improving the side. Then again they've just beaten Liverpool 3-0 away so they're not doing too bad. Home form needs to be sorted out though if they're to continue making progress and this game against Newcastle provides them with a good opportunity to do so.Newcastle continue to be as inconsistent as ever regardless of how many players they sign or who their manager is. So far this season they've lost to Swansea and Arsenal and drawn with Southampton and Manchester United leaving them one from bottom but at least they're ahead of Sunderland. In those four league games they've also had two players sent off and that's something they have to cut out of their game. The draw at United was their best away performance in a while but on the road they continue to be a side that struggles to get wins.
