The 2021 Philippines Cup is reaching the end of its last eight stage now. One of the semi-finals has already been confirmed with top seeds TNT KaTropa taking on fourth seeded San Miguel Beermen. Also through to the semi-finals are third seeded Magnolia Hotshots, but who will they take on for a place in the final? The final last eight match is between the second seeds Meralco Bolts and NLX Road Warriors, seeded seventh. This is a best-of-three series, so whoever wins this match is in the semi-finals. The Bolts finished second in the elimination round with a 9-2 record, that's compared to 5-6 for the Road Warriors.  The first match was a close one, with the Warriors winning by just a single point. That avenged a three-point loss in the elimination round.  Another tight match looks on the cards, go for the Bolts to edge it.
