Despite winning against Portugal (1-0), the Mannschaft has made a timid start to its Euro. Neutralised by the Portuguese for a long time, Joachim Low’s men will need to raise their game if they are to stand a chance of winning the tournament. The Dutch, however, were woefully inaccurate and fell into the Danish trap (1-0). Against Germany, Robben – criticised for his selfishness – and his team mates will need to play with pride and determination if they are to avoid an early exit from Euro 2012. A German win would see them through to the quarter-finals with the added bonus of eliminating a contender for the title. This Group B confrontation promises to be a cracker!
