The radio commentator said during Southampton's 4-0 win over Arsenal that you need to be a mug to make predictions about the Premier League this season. He's probably right because I doubt even Nostradamus would have forecast that result. There have been a fair few games that have defied logic this season and you have to wonder whether this will be another one. Arsenal missed out on the chance to go top on Boxing Day but get another opportunity here with Leicester not playing. Home form has been impressive in recent weeks with a series of good wins. They haven't lost a home league game since the first weekend of the season and have gone seven games in all competitions without defeat since the home loss to Olympiakos in the Champions League. Bournemouth are 14th and three points above the bottom three. They drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace on Boxing Day to take their unbeaten league run to six games. Now they face Arsenal away followed by a trip to Leicester at the weekend. They have won their last two away games but I get the feeling they're going to run into an Arsenal side determined to put that dreadful Boxing Day behind them.
