Our testing of the NetBet UK betting app in July 2026 was positive.
The app's layout was strong, though we think it could be improved. The panel at the bottom could have featured more options in our opinion, such as ‘in play’ events, rather than being hidden under a ‘More’ button. Still, it does a decent job in terms of providing simple navigation.
When looking at what the app offers, this is where we felt it excels.
The NetBet app was responsive to our touches, although we noticed that there were some delays when the selected event page was being loaded. While only a moment, this can sometimes be the difference between finding value or getting on a bet before something happens. As soon as we selected a bet to place, the betting slip popped up almost instantly, allowing us to enter a stake and place the bet in seconds.
Several sports are available to wager on, including mainstream and more niche options. During a test in the middle of the day in July 2026, we found many live options to explore. However, perhaps the biggest downside is that the bookmaker doesn’t offer any live streaming options.

We like that you have a lot of choice, especially when each market has competitive odds. We would have liked to see a little more market diversity and coverage in some areas, but generally it’s a solid offering.
The biggest takeaway from our test in July 2026 is the placement of the ‘in-play’ section and the lack of live streaming. It’s an important aspect for many bettors, and it was disappointing in our view. SportyTrader would have liked to see a dedicated tab placed more prominently, while it’s hard to ignore the absence of live streams.
Still, it’s solid in what it offers.
