Tennis South Africa has taken a massive step toward breaking into the international stage and allowing local players to show their ability against international talent by confirming that Mzansi will host a jam-packed 14 weeks of the ITF World Tennis Tour in 2026, including seven men’s and seven women’s tournaments.

Jam-packed ITF World Tennis Tour calendar on the cards for South Africa

Tennis South Africa (TSA) has confirmed that it will host nearly three months of ITF World Tennis Tour events this year, including seven men’s and seven women’s tournaments, many of which will be covered in detail in our in-depth tennis predictions

Partnering with women-owner WIPHOLD, TSA will have scheduled two weeks of combined back-to-back women’s and men’s tournaments in Pretoria for the fourth year in a row. The first week is carded to kick off on April 13, followed by the second week starting on April 20. 

Thereafter, participating players will head to Mpumalanga for the highly anticipalted inaugral edition of the Mbombela Open Global Series, which will also feature two weeks of consecutive tournaments, scheduled for April 27 and May 4. 

Hillcrest in KwaZulu-Natal will host a total of three weeks of tournaments in partnership with Curro Holdings. This is the third year in succession that these events will be staged in Hillcrest, with dates booked in for June 29, July 6 and July 13.
