It is set to be a thrilling finale to the Indian Super League season, with the title still hanging in the balance as we head into this evening’s fixtures. Five teams are still in the running to lift the trophy, with East Bengal currently in pole position to clinch their first-ever top-flight title.

East Bengal In Pole Position for First ISL Title

With no Playoffs or finals this season, the 2025-26 Indian Super League campaign is set to conclude this evening, and we are in for a grandstand finish with as many as five teams still in the running to be crowned champions.

Heading into the final day, East Bengal are perched atop the standings, but only on goal difference ahead of defending champions Mohun Bagan. All the key insights for this evening’s fixtures are available in our Indian Super League predictions

There is simply no room for error for the top two teams, as Punjab FC and Mumbai City are hot on their heels just a single point behind, while Jamshedpur are the outsiders, two points shy ahead of their clash against Odisha at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

East Bengal will lock horns with newly promoted Inter Kashi at the same time that the Mariners host SC Delhi at Salt Lake Stadium, where our experts are expecting the champs to secure a victory, according to our Mohun Bagan Super Giant vs Sporting Club Delhi prediction

Arguably, the most highly anticipated match on the final day comes from the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, where Punjab FC and Mumbai City will face off. The winner of this match could be crowned champions if EBFC and MBSG drop points in their fixtures.

As it stands, Bengaluru FC are in third place, level on 23 points with the top two teams, but they have already played their final game. Last season’s runners-up FC Goa’s hopes of claiming the title this term ended on Monday after losing 2-1 on the road to Kerala Blasters.
