Following the completion of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 Player Auction at the start of June, the 12 teams set to participate in the 2025 competition have now locked in the players who will represent them later this year. Join us as we take a look at the lineups for PKL 12.

Bengal Warriorz - Head coach Naveen Kumar

The Bengal Warriors made headlines at the PKL Season 12 player auction by splashing out ₹2.205 crore to bring in last season’s top raider Devank Dalal, who will captain the team, which also sees the return of Korean star Jang Kun Lee.

Bengaluru Bulls - Head coach BC Ramesh

Following a disappointing Season 11, the Bengaluru Bulls have made significant changes to their squad for 2025, retaining only four players who featured for the franchise in the previous season. Among their most notable acquisitions are Akash Shine and Alireza Mirzaeian.

Dabang Delhi KC - Head coach Joginder Narwal

The PKL Season 8 champs, Dabang Delhi, used their Final Bid Match to keep hold of their star raider Ashu Malik for the upcoming campaign, while they also bolstered their ranks by signing defensive stalwart Fazel Atrachali and Neeraj Narwal. 

Raiders: Mohit, Anil Gurjar, Vijay, Ajinkya Ashok Pawar, Akshit, Neeraj Narwal, Ashu Malik

Defenders: Sandeep, Anurag, Raman Singh, Mohit, Saurabh Nandal, Gaurav Chhillar, Surjeet Singh, Amirhossein Bastami, Fazel Atrachali

Gujarat Giants - Head coach Jaivir Sharma

With Fazel Atrachali headed to Dabang Delhi, the Gujarat Giants will need to find a new skipper for Season 12. However, that could be an easy decision for the franchise after they locked in two-time champion Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh for a whopping ₹2.23 crore.

Haryana Steelers - Manpreet Singh

Haryana Steelers clinched the title last season and have opted to keep hold of the majority of the team that served them so well in 2024. However, they have brought in a few notable additions, including the likes of Shahan Sha Mohammed from Bangladesh.

Jaipur Pink Panthers - Head coach Narender Redhu

The Jaipur Pink Panthers lost the services of their captain, Arjun “Raid Machine” Deshwal, to the Tamil Thalaivas at the PKL 12 auction, but they did manage to lure in Nitin Kumar Dhankhar and Uday Parte for ₹1.002 crore and ₹50.10 lakh, respectively.

Patna Pirates - Head coach Anup Kumar

The Patna Pirates will be aiming to claim their fourth PKL title this year and have kept hold of the core team that helped them finish in second place last season, though they have added Iranian defender Amin Ghorbani and raider Maninder Singh to their ranks.

Puneri Paltan - Head coach Ajay Thakur

Season 10 winners Puneri Palthan also retained the majority of their players at the auction, including Abinesh Nadarajan and Mohit Goyat, while using their Final Bid Match to keep hold of versatile defender/ all-rounder Mohd Amaan.

As mentioned earlier, the Tamil Thaliavas’ marquee singing at the PKL 12 auction was that of Arjun Deshwal for ₹1.405 crore. They also splashed out ₹59.50 lakh on Pawan Kumar Sehrawat and ₹30.20 lakh for defender Alireza Khalili.

Telugu Titans - Head coach Kishan Kumar Hooda 

The Telugu Titans had a fairly quiet PKL 12 auction compared to most other franchises, opting to hold on to several players that featured last season, including Praful Sudam Zaware and Shankar Bhimraj Gadai. Their most notable addition was all-rounder Bharat Hooda for ₹81 lakh.

U Mumba - Head coach Anil Chaprana

Following an impressive PKL 11 campaign, U Mumba have also retained most of their squad, with Sunil Kumar, Lokesh Ghosliya and Mukilan Shanmugam, all set to feature again this season, while Aanil Mohan was brought in for ₹78 lakhs at the auction.

UP Yoddhas - Head coach Jasveer Singh

Finally, UP Yoddhas made one massive signing at the auction, coughing up a staggering ₹1.073 crore for raider Guman Singh. The Uttar Pradesh outfit retained the services of Bhavani Rajput, Surender Gill, Shivam Choudhary and Sahul Kumar.
