Cricket: India's schedule for remainder of 2025 following gripping tour of England

Asia Cup 2025 kicks off bumper-to-bumper Indian cricket schedule
While most Indian cricket fans are still recovering from the pure elation following their team’s almost unbelievable feat on the final day of the fifth Test against England at The Oval, others are already casting their eyes to the Men in Blue’s next assignment - the 2025 Asia Cup.
India were originally slated to face neighbours Bangladesh in three ODIs and three T20Is in August, but due to political tensions between the countries, those limited-overs series have been postponed indefinitely.
Reports from several of the best online betting sites and news outlets in recent days have suggested that the Bangladesh tour could officially be scrapped and replaced with a trip to Sri Lanka, though given the tight scheduling period, that now seems highly unlikely.
Thus, as it stands, Gautam Gambhir’s side’s next confirmed match will come at the Asia Cup next month, where India’s first fixture is against the UAE at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on September 10 at 19:30 Indian Standard Time (IST).
Undoubtedly, though, all eyes will be on the Blue Shirts’ clash with arch-rivals Pakistan on September 14, especially after the India Champions refused to face the Shaheens twice at the recently completed World Championship of Legends.
Windies, Aussies and Proteas to close out 2025 for India

If India reaches the final of the 2025 Asia Cup, they will have a very tight turnaround to their following series, where they will be playing host to the West Indies in two Test matches in early October at the Narendra Modi and Arun Jaitley Stadium, respectively.
Thereafter, the Men in Blue will head Down Under for three ODIs and five T20Is against the Australians between October 19 and November 8, when they will be out for revenge after losing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 3-1 at the start of this year.
India’s final opponent in 2025 will be South Africa, who will arrive in the sub-continent just a week after the Australia tour. The Proteas and the Blue Shirts are scheduled to contest two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is between November 14 and December 19.
