The Arizona Cardinals will get the 2026 NFL season underway on the road Sunday afternoon in California, where they’ll take on the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. EST.

Arizona could be an interesting team to watch this season. After going a dreadful 3-14 last year, a new regime is in place led by former Rams offensive coordinator and first-year head coach Mike LaFleur.  Fans will be eager to see how he uses rookie running back Jeremiyah Love in the run game and the grossly underutilized Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson in the passing game, with Jacoby Brissett back at quarterback.

After going 11-6 last season and getting knocked out in the wild card round by the Patriots, Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh made a notable change to his staff in the offseason—he hired former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel as offensive coordinator. After seeing him make Tua Tagovailoa look like a solid starting quarterback, fans are eager to see what McDaniel can do with Justin Herbert.

With a solid defense backing up what is expected to be a much more productive offense, the Chargers are considered a team to watch heading into the season.
