The New England Patriots will hope to get the offense on track this week as they face a division rival in the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park. Game time for this AFC East contest is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST, with coverage provided by CBS.
The Patriots have had a rough start to the season. They lost a tough opener in a Super Bowl rematch against the Seattle Seahawks, 13-10. After getting a 20-3 win over the Steelers, they were demolished by the Jaguars in Week 3, 35-6. Buffalo, meanwhile, is off to a 3-0 start and has one of the league's best offenses.
Part of the problem has been the play of quarterback Drake Maye. A year after playing like an MVP candidate, he has struggled to get on track. Last season, he threw eight interceptions during the entire regular season and had five touchdowns in the first three weeks. This season, he has one touchdown and six interceptions through Week 3.
His counterpart in Buffalo, on the other hand, has played like he wants to repeat as MVP. Through Week 3, he has completed 65.1% of his passes for 786 yards, five touchdowns, and two interceptions. He has also rushed for six touchdowns (two per game).
