Week 2 of the NFL will conclude on Monday night with an NFC matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the New York Giants. Let’s take a look at the match statistics and predictions for this game between the Rams and the Giants.

New York enters this game with a record of 1-0. The Giants are coming off an impressive win against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1, beating them by a score of 28-20. Note that this was the first game for head coach John Harbaugh with the Giants. In this game, the Giants were able to gain nearly 400 yards of offense, while holding the Cowboys to under 250 yards. Given their new look, the Giants look likely to once again be competitive in this game, even against the Rams, who are expected to be Super Bowl contenders. 

As for Los Angeles, they enter this game with a record of 0-1. The Rams had one of the most disappointing opening games in Week 1, as they lost to the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 27-7 in Australia. Most notably, the Rams’ offense did not even gain 300 yards and only scored a single touchdown. This alone creates doubt about their ability going forward, especially with some injuries already starting to plague them.
