Week 2 of the NFL continues on Sunday with a full slate of games, one of which will be a matchup in the NFC South between the Atlanta Falcons and the Carolina Panthers. Let’s take a look at the match statistics and predictions for this game between the Falcons and the Panthers.

Carolina enters this game with a record of 0-1. In Week 1, the Panthers lost to the Chicago Bears by a score of 59-37. Their defense was clearly the biggest problem in this game, as they allowed over 550 yards to the Bears. That said, their offense was fairly efficient, as they gained 478 yards of offense. Most notably, the Panthers allowed nearly 300 yards rushing, which could be a huge issue against the Falcons, who have Bijan Robinson.

As for Atlanta, they also enter this game with a record of 0-1. The Falcons' Week 1 loss came against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a much different type of game. Atlanta was pretty much ineffective on offense, other than Bijan Robinson. Their biggest issue is at quarterback, as Cooper Rush was unable to do anything against a stout Steelers defense.
