Sunday’s EPL action concludes with one of the biggest rivalries the sport has to offer. That’s right, it’s time for the second North London Derby of the campaign. Tottenham and Arsenal will clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
This is clearly a game between two teams with very different objectives, which was true earlier in the season, though now the gap between the two has become even more obvious. Spurs are fighting for survival and have called on Igor Tudor as the man to get them out of trouble. Meanwhile, the Gunners are gunning for the title, and they’re currently the most likely league winners.
Earlier in the season, Spurs struggled to get anywhere near an Arsenal side that ran riot on home soil. Under their new manager, can they do a better job of competing in front of a home crowd?

Tottenham - Arsenal: Form Analysis
The hosts come into this game out of sorts, there can be no denying that. They recently lost to Newcastle, showing very little quality at either end of the field. That defeat turned out to be Thomas Frank’s last game in charge. Of course, we don’t really know what’s going to happen under Igor Tudor, who will have his own ideas on how to get this group of players going, but let’s face it, the recent efforts of this team don’t exactly point towards success against the league leaders.
Last time out, they tied 2-2 with bottom-of-the-league Wolves, a result that will definitely fill the hosts with confidence.
While the hosts have won none of their last eight EPL games, the visitors have now gone four games without tasting defeat, three of which they’ve won. However, Arteta’s men aren’t exactly on their strongest run of form having tied two of their last three in all competitions, tying each of their last two in the league. Last time out, they tied 2-2 with bottom-of-the-league Wolves, a result that will definitely fill the hosts with confidence.

Tottenham & Arsenal Squad Analysis
From a personnel point of view, Igor Tudor has plenty of issues to contend with. Club captain Cristian Romero continues to serve a suspension following his reckless red card against Man United, while Kevin Danso, Ben Davies and Destiny Udogie are further defensive absentees. James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski continue to be out long-term, while Spurs’ creativity is also weakened by injuries to both Mohammed Kudus and Wilson Odobert. Richarlison is not yet ready to return, which also hampers the hosts offensively.
Fortunately, unlike Igor Tudor, Mikel Arteta have lots of depth to his squad, so it’s fair to say that Arsenal are not left as short as Spurs in terms of personnel.
The Gunners also have some important players out at present. Bukayo Saka is a major doubt, as is Leandro Trossard. Kai Havertz and Mikel Merino continue to be sidelined, while like the hosts, the visitors are without captain Martin Odegaard. Fortunately, unlike Igor Tudor, Mikel Arteta have lots of depth to his squad, so it’s fair to say that Arsenal are not left as short as Spurs in terms of personnel.

Our Tottenham vs Arsenal Prediction
One of the only positives for Spurs in recent weeks has been the fact that Xavi Simons is now looking more settled as an EPL player. If anyone is going to make something happen for the Lilywhites offensively, it's Simons, who has recently got himself into some promising shooting positions, shooting on target twice against Man City at home.
