It's the last chance saloon for both Red Bull Salzburg and Basel on Thursday night, as anything less than a victory for either side will spell the end of their Europa League qualification hopes. 

Basel are currently just one point outside of the playoff places, but come into Thursday's game in poor form following a run of just one victory in their last five matches. After a solid start to their Europa League campaign, the Swiss champions have now lost three of their last four games and need a dramatic turnaround if they are to force their way into the playoffs. 

Salzburg's qualification hopes are even more remote than Basel's. Their 1-0 Matchday Six loss at Freiburg was their fifth in six games, meaning that anything less than victories over Basel and Aston Villa in their final two games will see elminated from the competition.
