The UEFA Nations League 2026 gets underway and the first matchday brings us some fantastic fixtures. One of the highlights of Matchday One is the match between two of Europe's heavyweights, the Netherlands and Germany. After yet another disappointing World Cup campaign, Germany play their first competitive match under new boss Jurgen Klopp. The ex-Liverpool boss has named two separate squads for their opening four Nations League games with one chosen for the first two fixtures and the other for the second set.

The Netherlands also have a new manager in Xavi Hernandez. There's been a couple of changes to the Oranje squad, with Memphis Depay and Justin Kluivert late pull-outs, but still it remains a highly competitive team. We're particularly looking forward to seeing striker Brian Brobbey in action after he netted a hattrick against Manchester City in the EPL. He's certainly going to be the danger man. 

For our prediction, though, we're looking at the Both Teams To Score and Over 2.5 Goals combo. While a winner in this one is difficult to judge, especially with both sides having new managers at the helm, we think both sides will score a couple each in this one.
