FC Barcelona (2-2) takes on Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv (1-3) in a EuroLeague regular season game on Tuesday, October 13, at Palau Blaugrana.
Barcelona have a new coach and a largely new roster this season. Aleksander Sekulic took over, and the club signed eleven players this summer. However, the results have been up and down so far. They have been alternating wins and losses in their first four games.
Barcelona is coming off an 88-81 loss to Zalgiris Kaunas. Defense was a big question mark for Barcelona in that game, as they allowed Zalgiris to shoot a whopping 48.1% from the three-point line.
Justin Robinson was the lone double-digit scorer for Barca, producing 20 points on 4-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc. Robinson is the team's second leading scorer with 11.5 points, behind Kevin Punter's 17.3.
As for Maccabi, they finally got their first win of the season with a 97-79 victory over Armani Olimpia Milan. Yam Madar led the charge for Maccabi with his 17 points, while Jaylen Hoard and Bonzie Colson Jr. chipped in 13 markers apiece.
Overall though, Maccabi's offense has been struggling early. They only rank 16th in offensive rating, a drastic contrast to Barcelona's fifth-ranked offense.
