About Paul Tamayo
Paul is a sports writer with bylines for several publications, including Fox Sports. He has been covering major basketball leagues, including the NBA, PBA, and NCAA. He excels in writing in-game analysis pieces and using advanced analytics for additional information.
Born in the basketball-rich country of the Philippines, Paul played varsity basketball for his high school alma mater. He enjoys analyzing games from a coach's perspective, which is one of the reasons why he transitioned to sports writing. He also loves reading books, with Japanese writer Haruki Murakami as his favorite author.
Dwyane Wade is Paul's favorite hooper. "The Flash" is the reason why Paul has been a longtime Miami Heat fan.
