What a match we have in store as Manchester City host Champions League holders Paris Saint Germain at the Etihad Stadium! Two of the favorites to win the competition outright, we could be in for an all-time classic UCL game. Both teams started their 26/27 Champions League campaigns with winning starts. The Citizens beat Porto away in their first CL game, with Paris Saint Germain thrashing Slovan Bratislava 6-1 at home.
City have started their season in incredible form. They've won every game they've played, including six out of six in the English Premier League. They currently sit atop the EPL table after beating Liverpool away last time out. As for Les Parisiens, they've had a somewhat inconsistent start to their domestic league, winning three, drawing two and losing one of their opening six Ligue Un games. They have, though, won their last four games in all competitions.
One thing both of these sides share is the ability to score goals and plenty of them. For our prediction, that's what we're focusing on. While City have kept clean sheets in five of their last six matches, shutting PSG out will be an almighty task. We do think the Blues will have the edge, so our pick is City to win and over 2.5 goals in the game.
