Portuguese second division side Torreense make their European bow on Thursday night, as they take on fellow Europa League group stage debutants Lillestrom at the Åråsen Stadion.
Torreense qualified for the Europa League via their shock Portuguese Cup success last season. However, they will go into Thursday's game in dreadful form, after picking up just one win from their opening six league games this season. The one positive for Torreense is that their only win of the season did come away from home; an impressive 0-2 win at Benfica B last weekend.
Lillestrom are currently on a three game winning run domestically, but still find themselves languishing down in fifth place in the Eliteserien. The Norwegians qualified for the league phase of the Europa League thanks to a tense extra time 2-1 victory over Egnatia in the final qualifying round, but they will need to significantly improve their performances if they want to progress to the knockout phase of the competition.
