One of two early kick-offs in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday sees Galatasaray and Atletico Madrid clash in the Turkish capital of Istanbul. As most people would've expected, the Atleti boys are close to securing automatic qualification to the knockouts, but the job is not yet done. The Spanish visitors will need to get a positive resul in Turkey. To be honest, to ensure that they end the round in the all-important top eight, they'll likely need to win this fixture, and they should fancy themselves to do that following back-to-back to wins (without conceding).
The hosts haven't been in superb form of late, winning only one of their last three. They'll get back down to business in the UCL following what was a disappointing tie against Gaziantep at the weekend. They do have a decent chance of featuring beyond the League Phase, even if they need to go into the play-off round, which looks likely. Then again, if they can upset Diego Simeone's men and win this game, they won't be without a chance of finishing in the top eight. In other words, there's plenty to play for at Rams Park.

If you can get anything like odds of +100 on 'Under 3.0 Asian Total', which pays out if less than three goals are scored and pays a refund if exactly three go in, then waste no time getting involved.
In somewhat uncharacteristic fashion, the visitors have been involved in a few high-scorers on the road in the UCL this season, but after seeing his team record consecutive clean sheets ahead of this fixture, winning just how he likes them too in low-key fashion, Diego Simeone will be looking for his team to keep things tight. Don't expect fireworks as the Spaniards put defensive solidity above anything else, and if they do get the job done, it will likely be in less low-scoring fashion than the early odds would have us believe.
