World Club Cup champions Chelsea will be looking to end a three game winless run when they travel to Italy for a Champions League showdown with Atalanta on Tuesday evening. 

Prior to that domestic winless run, the Blues produced their best display of the season to comfortably defeat Barcelona 3-0 on Champions League Matchday Five. That result moved Enzo Maresca's team up to ten points, the same total as Atalanta, who also earned a superb Matchday Five result, winning 3-0 at German side Frankfurt. 

Although Atalanta's European form has been solid, they are experiencing a very tough season in Serie A. Saturday's 3-1 reverse at Verona means that Raffaele Palladino's side are languishing down in 12th place, a massive 12 points outside of the Champions League qualification places.
